The Duchess of Cambridge has worn a stylish, modern, and elegant dress on the red carpet at the premiere of her new film, “Mamma Mia!”, according to the BBC.
The dress, worn by actress and musician Amanda Peet, was a black and white print that is reminiscent of her mother’s style of the 1920s.
The Dapper Duds, the Downton Abbey-inspired collection, was designed by the fashion house’s own stylist, Emily Brumfield.
In a statement, Peet said the dress was a “classic and timeless” style that “reminds me of my mother’s dresses and has been a staple of my wardrobe since I was young.”
Peet wore the dress for the premiere.
“I’m very proud of it,” Peet told the BBC in a statement.
“I feel it’s a dress that I can wear to any event I want.”
It was not immediately clear how many dresses were included in the collection, but Peet did say that the dress “has a bit of a trend” in it.
